Winery Shipments Direct To U.S. Consumers Grows, But Some Are Left Out

According to Peter Mitham and Wines Vines Analytics/Ship Compliant, during the twelve months from April 2016 to April 2017, Direct-to-Consumer (DtC) shipments totaled $729 million out of total U.S. wine sales of almost $40 billion . DtC still has a way to go, but its $227 million in April 2017 shipments alone was a 13 percent leap from April 2016.
