Wine from Croatia’s underwater winery is almost ready to hit the market. A sunken boat is used as an underwater cellar at the bottom of the Mali Ston Bay. This “sea wine” will retail for around 300 Euros a bottle (holy crow!) and is expected to be a hit with collectors for the sheer novelty of the wine.
Will it taste any good? Who knows, but the conditions for aging seem pretty ideal. At least it would make a pretty cool gastronomical souvenir for wine lovers.
