This cute little wine bar and shop on the charming side streets of Rome, Italy is as local as it gets. There’s not a bit of a touristy feel here, and English is minimally spoken (so if you can’t speak some Italian, make sure you come with your translation dictionary).
The bar is usually filled with locals but if you go around lunchtime it’s nice and quiet. Try to grab one of the seats and soak up the atmosphere with a chilled glass of prosecco.
The interior is cozy and gorgeous and is really perfect (make sure you look up at the pretty old ceiling). You can buy some limited bar snacks but you’ll sometimes get lucky and be given a few crunchy breadsticks for free.
Note: We fully paid for our wine tasting experience at this venue, it was not comped.
