Just like all things in the world, the world of wine keeps changing things up to keep and hopefully expand to new parts of the world, while keeping roots in proven classics. Some of the predictions for 2018 show this to be true, with emerging wine growing regions on the radar of top sommeliers, and the rekindling of an interest in old vine obscure varietals.
Also continuing to make progress in the US is getting back to the vineyard, and all the aspects that start there to end up in good wine.
