One of Australia’s most infamous multi-million dollar wine heists will now remain officially unsolved. After the disappearance of $5 million worth of the country’s best wines simply “disappeared” in 2013, investigators announced this week that they are officially closing the case, despite it being unsolved.
The heist totaled more than 30,000 bottles of fine wine, including a bottle of 1951 Penfold’s Grange that was valued at more than $65,000. Read more.
