Texas Bill to Change Appellation Rule

A Texas lawmaker has introduced a bill to change the state’s wine appellation rule. Claiming that a U.S. wine label isn’t always crystal clear, HB4233 has been sent to the Texas legislature. The rule, if it should pass, will insure that when a label reads “Texas wine,” it will have been wholly produced from grapes grown in the state. Read more.
