U.S. Wine Drinkers Have Increased Consumption During Lockdown

In “because of course they have” news, new research out this week has found that America’s 77 million regular wine drinkers have increased their frequency of wine consumption due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

The consumer survey found that the average price per bottle declined slightly, especially with consumers who were more casual wine drinkers. More frequent drinkers, who also reported spending a higher per bottle price, spent slightly more on their wine of choice. Read more.
