The Napa Valley Vintners Group has submitted a safety plan for the eventual reopening of tasting rooms to local authorities that contains proposals such as requiring reservations for visits, placing tables at least 10 feet apart and requiring staff temperature checks before work.
“We’re in the hospitality business, we’re here to make great wine, we’re here to have people enjoy themselves, we’re here to make sure people are safe while they’re doing that,” said Emma Swain, St. Supery Winery CEO and a member of the vintners’ group task force.
